ASP Health Inc. will Exhibit their RosePrep™ pro System at Different Health-care Conferences this Fall

ASP Health Inc. will be introducing its ROSE Prep™ pro automated sample preparation system at Interventional Pulmonology and Cytopathology conferences this fall.

ASP Health Inc. has developed a new automated sample deposition and staining system that is easy to use, mobile, and is compact enough to be used in Bronchoscopy and OR suites to prepare high-quality specimens in real time. This device uses a new method of deposition to provide a superior monolayer of cells and also brings fresh stain to each slide; standardizing and improving the process for making patient slides.

The first application for the automated system is for Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) where the sample that is obtained during the endoscopy procedures is promptly evaluated to determine the presence of adequate diagnostic cells. The system is

  • simple and intuitive,
  • fast – takes less than 2 minutes,
  • Dual Modes – Deposit and Stain or Stain Only
  • Prepares two slides: Diff Quik™ stained and alcohol fixed

The system uses a sample pod and hood to reduce the amount of sample used for ROSE and to ensure there is no cross-contamination between samples. The user can also use a unique sample vial to homogenize the sample to improve consistency between the samples analyzed during the ROSE procedure, those analyzed in the lab, or those passed on to downstream molecular analysis.

ASP Health will be introducing the ROSE Prep™ pro system at the following conferences this fall to target its core customers:

  • American Academy of Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP) – AABIP’s annual conference will be held in Chicago from August 24th through 26th. ASP Health will exhibit the ROSE Prep™ pro instrument at this conference and is expected to generate significant interest from Interventional Pulmonologists who benefit the most from an automated sample preparation during ROSE.
  • College of American Pathologists (CAP) – CAP’s annual meeting will be held in Chicago from October 7th through 10th. ASP Health will be presenting a poster on the use of its ROSE Prep™ pro system for Interventional Radiological procedures.  This method of preparing samples using the ROSE Prep™ pro system will provide an artifact-free method of preparing core biopsies samples during IR procedures.
  • American Society of Cytopathology (ASC) – ASC’s annual meeting will be held in Austin from November 16th through 19th. ASP Health will be exhibiting the ROSE Prep™ pro system at this conference to target the Cytopathologist and Cytotechnologist. Cytopathologists and Cytotechnologists are the main reviewers of the specimen slides that are prepared by the ROSE Prep™ pro system, and they play a critical role in the overall purchase process.
