ASP Health has announced the successful implementation of its integrated, end-to-end Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) solution at Auburn Memorial Hospital, marking a significant step forward in point-of-care cytology and procedural diagnostics.
The deployment brings together automated slide preparation, digital microscopy, and streamlined workflow software into a single coordinated platform. The result is a faster, more consistent, and highly reliable ROSE workflow—designed to deliver real-time diagnostic feedback during procedures while improving efficiency for both clinicians and cytology staff.
The initiative was driven by strong collaboration between ASP Health and the hospital’s clinical leadership, including pulmonologist Dr. Rajesh Rao, the pulmonology group, and the cytology team. Their hands-on engagement, detailed feedback, and shared focus on patient-centered care ensured a seamless rollout from day one.
This implementation highlights the growing importance of an integrated, point-of-care approach to ROSE. By aligning automated slide preparation, digital microscopy, and workflow management into one coordinated system, Auburn Memorial Hospital has established a model for strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration while advancing clinical quality and operational efficiency.
“We’re proud of what the Auburn team has accomplished and grateful for their partnership,” said Hari Subramanian, Chief Operating Officer of ASP Health. “Their success demonstrates what’s possible when technology is thoughtfully designed around the needs of cytologists and physicians. This implementation reflects not just innovation, but true clinical collaboration.”
ASP Health plans to support additional hospitals with similar implementations, helping sites across the country enhance their ROSE processes and deliver faster, more reliable diagnostic insight at the point of care.
