ASP Health attended the 2nd International Congress on Robotic Assisted Bronchoscopy and Transbronchial Ablation held in Brescia, Italy (near Milan) from 13th-15th June 2024 and was invited to perform a live demonstration of its ROSE Prep™ system. The Scientific Board of this International Congress involved some of the key international thought leaders such as Dr. Michela Bezzi, Dr. Stefano Gasparini, Dr. Kyle Hogarth, Dr. Michael Pritchett, and Dr. Felix Herth.
During the hands-on live session event at this conference, attendees were able to learn about the ROSE Prep™ system and were able to operate the device on their own. ROSE Prep™ gained a lot of interest from clinicians in Europe as well as from sites in Australia, the Middle East, and India. The attendees were specifically excited about the ease of using the ROSE Prep™ system to automatically prepare specimen slides for ROSE during bronchoscopy procedures.
In addition to the live hands-on session, Dr. Mauro Novali, an Interventional Pulmonologist from Spedali Civili Di Brescia, also presented his experience on implementing the ROSE Prep™ system at his site. Dr. Novali specifically highlighted that the system was very easy to use with very little training. He also emphasized that the opportunity to combine the sample consistency of the automated sample preparation system with artificial intelligence would significantly increase the speed of the ROSE process.
ASP Health looks forward to continuing its collaboration with the interventional pulmonology thought leaders in Europe and beyond to implement the fully automated ROSE workflow in the months to come.
